REALTOR® Code of Ethics (COE) | 3 ECE

Description
All REALTOR® members are required to complete REALTOR® Code of Ethics (COE) training when you join us, and each 3-year COE cycle. The COE Cycle 8 runs from January 2025 through December 2027.
Members who need to complete the COE Cycle 7 requirement which was due on December 31, 2024, may take this class to comply or take the class online through the NAR; see information below.
This class (Course #18423) is for new members needing to complete the COE course, and for existing REALTORS® needing to complete the COE Cycle requirement. This class gives you 3 ECE credits toward your Alaska REC license renewal. This class will be offered in an in-person classroom setting only.

Please note, as of January 1, 2025, if you register for a class and do not show up, you will be charged at $10 no show fee the next time you register for an event or class. If you cant attend, send an email to member@ancboard.com before class begins. Thank you.
Here's a few more options to help you comply with the REALTOR® COE requirement:
- The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) offers two online COE courses for free, one for NEW MEMBERS (Course #2931) and another for EXISTING REALTORS® (Course #2932).
Upon completion, send us a copy of your online certificate and ABR will send you a certificate for 2 ECE credits that may be used for the AK REC license renewal. Send your certificate of online completion to: admin@ancboard.com; allow up to 5-business days to receive your 2 ECE certificate from us.
To take the FREE online NAR COE course, follow this link: https://www.ancboard.com/code-of-ethics-coe/ - REALTORS® who have earned, or want to earn your C2EX Endorsement through NAR, this too will fulfill the COE training requirement. REALTOR® COE training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS® and must be approved by the Anchorage Board of REALTORS®. Many courses offered by 3rd-party providers are not approved for the REALTOR® Code of Ethics training requirement.
